2016 MBC Korean Music Festival

MBC has wrapped up 2016 with a celebration of the year’s hits as well as some K-Pop classics at the 2016 MBC Korean Music Festival (MBC Gayo Daejejun)!

The music festival was held on December 31, with performances broadcast from three venues, and was hosted by Girls’ Generation memberYoonAand Kim Sung Joo.

The night featured plenty of performances of chart-topping tracks from this year, as well as collaborations, covers, and artists revisiting their former hits. The artists also counted down to the new year together at midnight, and BTS rang in the new year with 2017’s first performance on the network being their hit “Blood, Sweat & Tears.”
