The University of Oklahoma says authorities have found no evidence of shots being fired on campus and no injuries have been reported.

That information was learned from the school's website.

While confirming in the posting that no evidence has been found of any shots being fired, the school announced normal campus operations have resumed except for Gould Hall, where additional checking is continuing Wednesday.

The university is located in Norman, about 30 kilometers south of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
