Four people were confirmed dead in a coal mine accident in east China's Shandong Province as rescuers discovered the remains of the last miner Wednesday, according to local emergency management authorities.
The coal bumps occurred at around 6:17 a.m. on Feb. 22 in the Longgu Coal Mine in Juye County, Shandong Province, trapping four miners. Rescuers found bodies of three miners before Wednesday.
The mine, with a capacity of 6.24 million tonnes, belongs to Shandong Xinjulong Energy Co. Ltd.
