Guatemala: U.S. migrants deportation adds risk of spreading virus

The coronavirus pandemic has hit all regions around the world, but Central America is especially at risk due to the poor social and economic conditions in the region.

The recent deportation of undocumented migrants from the United States to Guatemala has added to that risk, because some of those deportees were sent back home after they had become infected with the coronavirus in the US Detention Centers.
