Tesla has stopped offering free mobile chargers, according to foreign media reports, confirmed by Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

The accessory, currently priced separately at $275, connects the Tesla to a wall outlet and gives it a range of about two to three miles after an hour of charging.

"Usage statistics are very low, so it seems wasteful." "On the [secondary] edge, we're going to include more plug adapters in the mobile connector suite," Musk said.

Notably, Musk posted on social media that Tesla will drop the price of a mobile charger to $200 and sell it in a package with the new car.
