Many people in Vietnam have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 outbreak. To help, a Vietnamese entrepreneur and his team launched a "Rice ATM" – a project to provide rice to the underprivileged during the pandemic. The rice dispensers are located in Nghia Tan Ward, Cau Giay District and also in Bac Tu Liem District'sculturalhouse in Hanoi. One rice dispenser can provide 3-4tonnes of rice per day and serve around 1,000 residents everyday (3kg/resident).
