The Iraqi Health Ministry on Sunday confirmed 34 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 1,352.
Among the new cases were 14 in the capital Baghdad, 15 in Basra, four in Sulaimaniyah, and one in Erbil, the ministry said in a statement.
So far, 76 have died from the coronavirus and 640 recovered, according to the statement.
The Iraqi authorities have taken several measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, including extending a nationwide curfew until April 19.
To help Iraq cope with the coronavirus pandemic, a Chinese team of seven experts have been working with their Iraqi counterparts since March 7.
