Attacks on Asians in the U.S. spiked in first quarter of 2021

The number of anti-Asian hate crimes soared in the first quarter of 2021, with a 164% increase, compared to the same period last year, in 16 of America's largest cities.

Just in recent days, unprovoked attacks took place in several cities including New York, San Francisco, and Baltimore.
