Lightning River glistens under the sun in N China's Hebei

Pictures show the Lightning Riverwinding like a snake through a wetland of the same name in Zhangjiakou City, north China's Hebei Province.

Home to over 400 wild plant and animal species, the wetland is an important pit stop and breeding ground for migratory birds.
