exit polls

analyzed by Edison Research for the National Election Pool

several groups made key votes that helped to secure Joe Biden his win in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

These charts should be taken with a healthy grain of salt. Nearly 16,000 surveys were conducted outside polling places and by phone and the numbers are early estimates of the polling and are subject to change.

Exit polls have also faced criticisms of sampling bias, and tends to over-represent certain groups. Check out this

Wired

Wired's Gilad Edelman writes that in addition to the sampling errors, exit polls have to match election results, and the data is often adjusted to make it fit which means over-represented groups are adjusted the most. Some question the reports that 55% of white women voted for Trump.
