Eight dead in gas leak in South China iron mill

Eight people died and another ten were poisoned in a gas leak at an iron mill in Shaoguan City, south China's Guangdong Province, according to Xinhua.

Those poisoned have been treated and are now in a stable condition.

The incident occurred at around 3:00 a.m. on Monday, and an investigation into the cause of the incident has been ordered.
