Namibia has reported the country's first two cases of COVID-19, the government said in an urgent press briefing on Saturday.
Namibian Health Minister Kalumbi Shangula said the two patients are a couple from Spain who were sightseeing in the African country.
"They were attended by a private doctor who sent samples to South Africa for testing and the test came out positive," Shangula said.
The patients have been monitored under the World Health Organization guidelines, Shangula added.
