14 COVID-19 patients discharged from hospital on Chinese mainland

BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Fourteen patients of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were discharged from hospital after recovery on the Chinese mainland Thursday, the National Health Commission said Friday.

Altogether 78,209 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital by the end of Thursday, the commission said in its daily report.

As of Thursday, a total of 82,933 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported on the mainland, and 4,633 people had died of the disease. ■
