On Monday, tropical storm Elsaswept across western Cuba near Havana with65-kilometer-per hour winds and heavy rains, and is now unleashing on Florida.

The approach of the storm deepenedconcerns in Cuba as its residents are fighting a severeoutbreakof COVID-19.
