APD | Foreign Guests Impressed by Aion’s New Energy Vehicles

In order to promote communication and exchanges between China and overseas people, enhance friendship with neighboring countries, and show China's development achievements in recent years and the happy life of its people, Asia Pacific Daily held the "Overseas Chinese Friends in China" activity in Guangzhou from June 13 to June 15, 2023.

In this event, Asia Pacific Daily invited seven distinguished foreign guests, including overseas government officials, well-known scholars and media personnel, to visit, discuss and research in Guangzhou to promote people-to-people exchanges between China and foreign countries.

At 3:30 PM on June 15th, the foreign guests came to GAC Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. to visit its enterprise exhibition hall, final assembly workshop and battery production workshop. In the course of the visit, the foreign guests showed great interest in two models of its automobile, and expected that it could make a big difference in the international market in the future. Meanwhile, the foreign guests affirmed the manufacturing technology of Aion, believing that it will become a major power to promote the change of the global new energy automobile industry.

Among the foreign guests, Zamir Awan, the founder of the Pakistani think tank Global Silk Road Research Alliance (GSRRA), was very interested in the automobile manufacturing industry since he specialized in machinery. During the visit, he raised a lot of issues related to machinery and technology related to the new energy vehicles of Aion. He especially thanked the Asia Pacific Daily for arranging the visit.

During the visit to the assembly workshop, the foreign guests were very excited after seeing the assembly process of various parts of a new energy vehicle as well as the successful test drive process. Among the foreign guests, Malaysian DATO 'ONG CHONG YI and Thai think tank scholar Tharakorn Wusatirakul sat in the new energy vehicles displayed in the exhibition hall and took photos.
