Syria intercepts Israeli attacks near Latakia on Mediterranean coast

Syrian air defenses intercepted and destroyed missiles launched by Israel targeting several areas in northwestern Syria, including the port city of Latakia along the Mediterranean coast, Syrian news agency SANA reported on Wednesday citing a military source.

Explosions were heard near Latakia and Tartus along the Mediterranean coast, the media outlet reported earlier.
