Iran arrests 27 members of IS

Iran's Intelligence Ministry announced on Monday that it has arrested 27 members of the Islamic State (IS) militants.

The ministry statement said that 17 of them were detained inside the country and 10 others were arrested outside of the country in their command centers.

In the operations to arrest the IS members, the Iranian ministry has had intelligence cooperation with a regional intelligence service, it added.
