China: Robbery turns to rescue mission for alleged thief

A bizarre video has emerged in China of an alleged thief who was caught at the scene of the crime after he got his foot stuck in a door.

The security camera video, which was filmed in Putian, Fujian Province on August 28, shows a man riding out of the warehouse on a scooter as the automatical door closes behind him.

Soon after, a shirtless man then tries to make his getaway but before entering, his foot gets caught in the door.

Unable to break free, the man lies down on the ground and waits for the police to come and both, rescue and arrest him.
