China calls for restraint as Iran expands uranium enrichment

China on Tuesday called for calm and restraint from all sides following Iran's decision to enrich uranium to 20 percent at its Fordow facility.

The top priority is to promote an early return of the United States to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said during a regular press briefing.
