Cruise ship originating out of Boston runs aground in Bermuda, all safe

A cruise ship that originated in Boston, U.S. State of Massachusetts, run aground Tuesday in Bermuda after temporarily losing power, all are safe, local media reported.

According to Boston-base WCVB News, there are currently 2,675 passengers and 1,062 crew members on board of the Norwegian Dawn, which lost power around 5 p.m. local time Tuesday.

The loss of power affected the ship's propulsion, which caused the ship to make contact with the channel bed, WCVB quoted officials of the ship's owner Norwegian Cruise Lines, adding that all passengers and crew members are safe. Enditem
