High-tech theaters set to change movie-watching experience

3D, IMAX... now VR? Can this new technology change the way we consume movies?

ScreenX is the world’s first multi-projection system for theaters, taking the movie beyond the single screen with a VR headset and moving pods, resulting in an immersive, panoramic, 270-degree experience.

Jeffrey Travis, CEO and founder of Positron Company which produces motion chairs that enhances the virtual reality movie-watching experience, said people can get a better experience in movie theaters, adding that its not a set up that everyone can have at home.
