Official calls for global cooperation to curb COVID-19 epidemic

A Chinese health official Thursday urged strengthening cooperation with relevant international organizations and countries to jointly contain the spread of the coronavirus.

According to the World Health Organization, the COVID-19 outbreak has occurred in some countries, some of which see a rapid increase in the number of cases, said Mi Feng, a spokesperson for the National Health Commission, stressing efforts to prevent both people outflows and inflows.
