China to take strong measures if Pelosi visits Taiwan region

China would take strong measures if U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited China's Taiwan region, said the Chinese Foreign Ministry on Thursday.

China firmly opposed all forms of official interactions between the United States and Taiwan region, ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian told reporters in Beijing.
