Chang'e-5 ascender touches down on moon as scheduled

The ascender of China's Chang'e-5 probe on Tuesday touched down on the moon as scheduled, according to the China National Space Administration.

The ascender separated from the orbiter-returner and flew back to the moon on Sunday.
