Uganda confirms 1st COVID-19 case

Uganda has confirmed its first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The ministry of health said in a tweet on Sunday the confirmed case involves a 36-year-old Ugandan male who arrived from Dubai on Saturday aboard an Ethiopian airlines.

He showed with symptoms of high fever and poor appetite, the ministry said.
