Millions of square meters worth of peach flowers are blossoming in Yuanqu County in northern China’s Shanxi Province. In the village of Linghui, the 2nd Peach Flower Festival has just begun, and it has attracted tens of thousands of visitors.
Streams of visitors have come to admire the peach blossom.
Yuanqu County is located in the city of Yuncheng in southern Shanxi Province, which enjoys a warm climate. The local daytime temperatures have been around 15 to 20 degrees centigrade recently.
Visitors can also have a nighttime tour in the orchard.
Aerial views show that the surrounding mountains are densely covered by peach trees, making it a sea of white and pink flowers. During the festival, both daytime and nighttime tours are available in the orchard.

The festival has also been holding various kinds of shows during the event, including a cheongsam fashion show and performances featuring traditional Chinese musical instruments. Visitors can also taste local food in the villager.
Around 100 volunteers offer help to tourists and keep the site clean.
Taking pictures is a must for many visitors.
The local government has been working to develop tourism in recent years. The festival is a major tourist event, aimed at bringing in more visitors and increasing the income of local villagers.
