Two dead, three injured in house fire in Australia's Brisbane

The fire was reported around 4 a.m. local time on Friday, with the house in Bracken Ridge well engulfed upon police arrival.

Three other people including a teenager and two adults escaped the blaze with non-life threatening injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment, police said.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are underway.

It is not believed to be suspicious at this stage, police say.
