Sudan's government and rebel groups in the troubled Darfur region have agreed to hand over suspects wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to the Hague-based court, Reuters reports Information Minister Faisal Saleh to say.
Former president Omar al-Bashir, who was topped after mass protests last year, is wanted by the ICC, but the minister did not name him specifically.
Al-Bashir is wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity over the conflict that broke out in the country's Darfur region between 2003 and 2008. He denies the charges.
He seized power in a military coup in 1989 and ruled Sudan with an iron fist.
After his ouster in April last year, the 76-year-old was sentenced to two years in a social reform facility for corruption.
Prosecutors have also charged him with killing protesters during the demonstrations that pushed him out of power.
The ICC issued warrants for al-Bashir's arrest in 2009 and 2010.
