The 2021 Lantern Festival Gala, hosted by China Media Group (CMG), will kick off at 8:16 p.m. Friday to mark the end of the 15-day Spring Festival, bringing an immersive festive experience for the audience onsite and behind the screens.
The 100-minute show will open with a creative and magnificent 100 people chorus of the classical song "Unforgettable Tonight." All the singers are anchors from TV and radio channels and new media platforms of CMG, sending the festival greetings to everyone.

Since 1985, the Lantern Festival Gala has accompanied Chinese people on the special occasion of a family reunion, which features dances and songs, crosstalks, and sketch comedies. It is an important festival gala second only to the world's most-watched Spring Festival Gala.
