Flag-raising ceremony marks 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return

A flag-raising ceremony was held at Golden Bauhinia Square on Saturday morning in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China.

Chief Executive-elect Carrie Lam and senior officials from the Hong Kong regional government attended the ceremony. Hong Kong is expected to continue serving as a bridge between the Chinese mainland and the rest of the world under the Belt and Road Initiative.
