Chingay Parade: Singapore's multicultural carnival

A true representation of Singapore, the annual Chingay Parade is a celebration of the nation's multicultural and global identity. The two-day event this year saw floats, performances, fireworks, laser lights, pyrotechnics and also a 108m-long inflatable dragon. Despite fear of the coronavirus, locals and tourists turned up in large numbers, confident of the measures put in place by the organizers - which included temperature checks at the entrance.
