World Bank supports Albania's education reforms

The World Bank (WB) supports Albania's education reforms aimed at improving the performance and quality of education, a WB official said here Tuesday.

The WB will support the policies and reforms in Albania's education system, with the goal of increasing employment, said WB regional director Ellen Goldstein at a high-level conference.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said at the conference that the WB is expected to provide expertise and financial support to the country.

Albania has worked with the WB and other institutions as well as companies such as Google to improve education, which provides high technologies to the country, Rama said.
