48 injured in collision of subway trains in Tehran

A collision of two subway trains in Iran's capital Tehran on Tuesday led to the injury of at least 48 passengers, Iran's Health Ministry announced in a statement.

The accident occurred when a train hit another one in the back at a train stop in western Tehran.

In the statement, the ministry said 40 of the injured have been transferred to hospitals.
