Houston and other parts to Texas are preparing for extensive flooding as the storm known as Beta swirls over the region.

Beta weakened to a tropical depression Tuesday.

Forecasters expect it to stall over Texas through Wednesday, with rainfall of 15-30 centimeters (6-12 inches).

Some areas could see as much as 51 centimeters (20 inches).

Beta is expected to bring more rain to parts of Louisiana that got pounded by Hurricane Laura three weeks ago.
