China's Xinjiang UygurAutonomous Region has been in the spotlight for years now. Anti-terrorism and de-radicalization efforts have resulted in a more peaceful environment for all groups living there, not only by policing extremism, but more importantly by addressing the roots of extremism found in poverty and lack of education. But some Western allegations, including that of "forced labor", are trying to shape a different narrative. So what's the essence of issues related to Xinjiang? And what political motivations and maneuvers lurk behind the allegations?

To discuss these issues, we've invited Victor Gao Zhikai, Chair Professor of Soochow University; Helga Zepp-LaRouche, Founder and President of the Schiller Institute; Einar Tangen, Independent Current Affairs Commentator; and Sultan M. Hali, Managing Director of Sohni Dharti TV in Pakistan.
