Turkey eyes visa-free travel to EU in 3 years

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu Wednesday said the Turkish citizens may benefit from the EU visa exemption deal in about three years, local Daily News reported.

"Turkish people could enjoy visa exemptions for trips to the EU in three and half years. But the process could take even less time, " Davutoglu told reporters.

The talks on the visa-free regime for Turkish citizens traveling to the EU will soon begin, according to the report.
