James Harden scored 48 points to help the Houston Rockets beat the Phoenix Suns 142-116 in an away NBA game on Thursday.
In the lopsided game, forward Ryan Anderson had 24 points and Trevor Ariza also added 11 as Houston scored a stunning 90 points by halftime.
The Suns looked rusty while facing an in-form Rockets team. Center Greg Monroe led the Suns with 20 points while guard Devin Booker had 18. Josh Jackson came from the bench to score 16.
