A rainbow appeared over Xin'an River on Monday morning in Jiande City, east China's Zhejiang Province, when Xin'an River Reservoir was discharging floodwater due to heavy downpours.
The rainbow lasted nearly three hours.
The Xin'an River Reservoir, an important flood control project in the upper reaches of the Qiantang River, opened spillways to lower the crest of the floods for the first time in nine years.
