WHO expert team says 'learned a lot' from Wuhan study

The WHO expert team said on Friday that they have learned a lot about the origins of the SARS-CoV-2.

The team had been in Wuhan since January 14 for a joint study on the coronavirus's origins. The experts have concluded their investigation with the Chinese side in the city.

A summary report of the mission's findings could emerge as early as next week, followed by a final report "in the coming weeks," according to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
