UK becomes first Western country to roll out COVID-19 immunizations

The United Kingdom began its massive rollout of COVID-19 vaccinations on Tuesday, the largest immunization program in UK history. The vaccine will be given first to frontline health workers, nursing home workers and those over age 80, before it is given more widely among the UK population.

Here are some major highlights from day one of inoculations in the UK.
