Bonhams Hong Kong presents 3.5-m calligraphy couplet by Chang Dai-chien

Bonhams Hong Kong presents a calligraphy couplet in Running Script by Chinese artist Chang Dai-chien (Zhang Daqian), the largest size in the market, May 25, 2021. (China News Service/Li Zhihua)

The masterpiece is 3.5 meters long, with characters written by ink on gold-flecked red paper. It is inscribed and signed with a dedication and two seals of the artist. The auction estimate is 800,000 to 1.2 million HKD (about $103,068 to $154,602).
