India's COVID-19 caseload surpasses 24 million

India on Friday reported 343,144 new COVID-19 cases, pushing its overall caseload to over 24 million, health ministry's data showed.

A total of 4,000 more deaths were also reported in the previous 24 hours, raising the death toll to 262,317.
