Three dead after six people shot in Washington D.C., police say

At least six people were shot in an incident in Washington D.C. on Saturday, according to the local police department.

Three victims have been pronounced dead and three others are suffering from non-life threatening injuries, said the Metropolitan Police Department on Twitter.

The shooting occurred at around 7:30 p.m. local time and an investigation into the incident is underway.
