Saudi Arabia welcomes U.S.-Taliban peace deal

Saudi Arabia welcomed on Saturday the signing of the peace deal between the United States and Taliban.

The deal would contribute to bringing stability back to Afghanistan and promote regional and international security, Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement on the Saudi Press Agency.

The ministry highlighted that the kingdom hopes the deal would lead to permanent cease-fire and peace in all over the country to enable Afghanis to achieve their development inspirations.
