Trump taps U.S. Congressman Mark Meadows for White House chief of staff

U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday that Congressman Mark Meadows will become the new White House chief of staff.

"I have long known and worked with Mark, and the relationship is a very good one," Trump tweeted Friday night.

He also said acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney will become the U.S. special envoy for Northern Ireland.
