Military trucks help deliver daily necessities in China's Wuhan

A total of some 350 tonnes of daily necessities have been delivered by military trucks to supermarkets in the city of Wuhan, the epicenter of the novel coronavirus, since Sunday.

The special transportation task force, with 130 military trucks and more than 260 officers and soldiers from units stationed in Hubei Province, was formed to aid the shortage of manpower in logistic sector amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The move was approved by the Central Military Commission upon the request of the municipal headquarters of Wuhan on the prevention and control of the epidemic.
