The United States expects a record number of deals to be signed at a foreign investors conference being hosted which is outside the US capital. According to US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, CGTN’s Daniel Ryntjes reported that there is a record 155 Chinese delegates in attendance.

Chinese foreign direct investors plowed $46 billion into the US economy last year. But there's also concern about potential challenges for the Chinese. A case in point is the Chinese makers are facing “culture clash” with US workers. Therefore, Chinese investors need to be sensitive to local conditions.

Chinese investors are closely monitoring political developments, with the US Congress now reviewing the criteria for limiting or rejecting foreign investments perceived to negatively impact national security.
