Houston Rockets star player James Harden would be out of action for at least two weeks due to a hamstring injury sustained in the game against Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA club said on Monday.

Harden scored 40 points and made 11 assists before leaving the court in the fourth quarter on Sunday when the Rockets won it 148-142 after double overtimes to snap their five-game losing streak.

The 28-year-old shooting guard had 32.3 points, 5 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game this season to pace the Rockets for the second position in the Western Conference after Golden State Warriors.
