More than 20 people on motorcycles set fire to two Chinese-funded garment factories in an industrial zone in Yangon, Myanmar at around 1:50 p.m. local time on Sunday.

Carrying iron rods, axes and gasoline, the arsonists smashed the security personnel and set fires at the factories' entrances and in warehouses.

Per reports, one of the two garment factories is Chinese-owned while the other is a Sino-Myanmar joint venture.
