Biden joined Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Senators Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow, and toured King Orchards in Central Lake Michigan, where he tried their cherries and visited with staff.

The tour is intended to highlight the progress being made in the United States against COVID-19 as more people get vaccinated.

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris arrived in Las Vegas in the U.S. state of Nevada Saturday as part of what the White House is calling the “America’s Back Together” tour.

Harris met with Senators Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen, Congresswoman Susie Lee and Congressman Steven Horsford, ahead of touring a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic outside the Carpenters International Training Center.

She spoke to union members and their families about the Biden administration’s infrastructure plans, and said the administration is “determined” to be the most pro-union administration in the nation’s history.
